QUALIFICATIONS
|
High School Diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
|
Complete current training in First Aid and CPR.
|
Minimum of three years experience working with school age children and/or families (preferable).
|
Administrative/management skills, including budget preparation and management.
|
Valid Kentucky driver’s license.
|
POSITION SUMMARY
|
Create caretaking experiences that enhance students’ abilities to succeed in school by implementing afterschool and summer learning opportunities, promoting family engagement, and forming partnerships to promote academic achievement, social-emotional development, and college and career readiness.
|

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
|
Coordinate and direct all functions of the 21st Century Community Learning Center grant program.
|
Assure the implementation of activities aligned to the 21st Century Community Learning Center required goals.
|
Coordinate with community partners to provide services and opportunities to student participants and their families.
|
Lead the planning and implementation of the 21st Century Community Learning Center Advisory Council.
|
Orchestrate a minimum of four annual educational opportunities for parents and families that support academic achievement.
|
Accept responsibility for the operations of the program, including the safety of staff and students during program hours.
|
Administer grant funds and activities in accordance with Board of Education policy and procedures.
|
Plan the master calendar and schedule for staff, program activities, and daily curriculum.
|
Attend and implement mandatory and related training.
|
Complete APR and other mandated reporting requirements, including related data entry and documentation.
|
Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others, including community partners, families, building principal(s) and school day staff.
|
Link program activities to school day learning through ongoing communication with school day staff.
|
Coordinate, supervise, and direct all paid and volunteer staff as assigned.
|
Adhere to the appropriate code of ethics.
|

Maintain appropriate professional appearance.
|
Perform other duties as assigned by Superintendent or designee.
