QUALIFICATIONS

-High School Diploma.

-Administrative/management skills, including budget preparation and management.

POSITION SUMMARY

To assist the coordinator in planning, organizing, implementing and coordinating projects, programs/activities and maintaining standard practices and procedures of the center(s) to which one is assigned.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in identifying and securing potential sources of services or funding for the FRYSC.

Assess the needs of families to be addressed by Center services.

Assist eligible families in assessing available federal and state support.

Assist in coordinating all center services for eligible families and youth.

Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all federal, state and community agencies/businesses offering available and usable services.

Serve as liaison between and among all agencies serving individual students and families.

Meet and confer on a regularly scheduled basis with the center's Advisory Council.

Perform other FRYSC duties as assigned.

Demonstrate sensitivity to individuals and families.  and has a proven capacity for building personal relationships.

Demonstrate aptitude for working with low income families and children with a proven capacity for building positive personal relationships.
